Going on a hike near Heise. It was beautiful!!

Alex and Melanie night out. Found this super fun country store in Archer (the middle of nowhere)
Inside the store. We bought a fruit pie, drink, and ice cream. Delicious!
We went and walked around in the sand dunes. Amazing mountains of sand in St. Anthony. Crazy and beautiful!

This is the picture of our room. It was a jungle-themed room (a bit much, but heavily discounted)
The next day we went to Porter Park and enjoyed the Merry-go-round

The Whitney's stopped by to say hi on their way to drop of Ellie at college in St. George
CAMPING!! We loved our little camping trip to Pasa-la-Coma. We stayed there two nights and had SO much fun!
The water in the pond was very cold, but we braved it anyway.
The boys getting up the courage to go swimming in the cold water

Playing "king of the hill" on the dock in the middle of the pond

Enjoying the campfire in our campsite

Getting all of the air out of the air mattress

It got a little rainy the first night, but nothing too bad. We played a lot of kick ball and baseball. It was so fun. Especially fun to get like 5 pizzas from a ward that had left overs in the girls' camp
Averly saying "good-bye" to Jan before heading off to college

Kaleb's masterful choice for our last FHE activity before Averly leaves - Lip sync battle and dancing!!

We stayed downstairs enjoying this activity for like 2.5 hours

Kaleb set up lights and everything!

After the lip synce with all of our "microphones"
Mom and Verity enjoying the temple grounds as the rest of us do baptisms

The day we leave for Cedar City to drop off Averly at college. Best friend Nicole (and her sister Kenzie) came over early to decorate our driveway and say "good-bye" to Averly

Super best friends

1st stop of our journey: Verity's camp-decorated 5th grade classroom with Mrs. Rothwell
(Verity missed back-to-school night because of our trip, so she got an early sample of her classroom)
Amazing teacher!!
The long journey to Southern Utah begins.
We loved stopping in West Jordan at the Pizza Pie cafe to have lunch with Grandma and Grandpa Dutson
This stop was to visit Grant and Clarissa in Payson, Utah
And we arrived in Cedar City. Here's us unpacking all of Averly's stuff and her new place of residence

All done! Melanie and JaNae spent some serious time cleaning the basement of Averly's bedroom. Everyone else helped us unload and unpack.
We were so blessed to go visit Grandma and Grandpa Duston in the Veteran's Care Center. Of course, we had to play Mormon Bridge and Grandpa loved that. Love these sweet sweet people!

Back to the Reiser's house in Cedar City. Dance performance by all the girls in the backyard

Saying our final good-bye to the Reiser's (Saddee not wanting to be in the picture)
Heading to drop of Averly after a great few days together on this trip
Out in front of Averly's new house

On our way home, we met up with the Iverson's and Hatch's (Grant/Clarissa) at a park in Provo. We played some football and ultimate frisbee and had a great time.

Triven Haderlie's mission homecoming!
In Averly's honor, this FHE activity was decorating rocks together.
First day of 5th grade for Verity!

All of us riding our bikes with Verity to the elementary together.....before the accident
About halfway to the school, Verity accidentally hit a garbage can with the handlebar of her new bike, and that threw her off completely (knees first) into the road. She stayed down sobbing for quite some time, and when she got up, her knee was oozing blood. Fortunately, friend Mindy Sapp drove by and saw us and took Melanie and Verity back to our house while the boys brought all the bikes home. Verity stayed home getting her knee cleaned up and being loved by Kaleb and Mom (through a little paleness and shock) at home.
Finally, an hour later, Verity was ready to go enjoy...her first day of school. (So so sad!)
Bumping in to Nicole at Walmart
