Suffocating in-bound defense! (against Sophia Harrison)
Alex and Melanie got to go to a special S&I meeting. The guest from Salt Lake brought with him an original 1st-edition copy of the Book of Mormon! He passed it around for all to see and touch and take pictures with it. So cool!

Hayden balling it up!

Attending Verity's awesome Veteran's Day program. She had a speaking part at the very end to close out the awesome assembly. Fun to have Given along as he was visiting for the day.

Dad surprised Verity by coming to her assembly, too. Big hugs afterward!

Meeting up with the Harrison girls after Verity's game.
Alex and Hayden spent the day in Pocatello for a bball tourney for Hayden. They took 3rd place.
Kaleb and his Sadie's date, Shea Stanger.
Verity received a special award, "The Citizenship Award" given to one student in each grade who exhibits kindness and friendship and helpfulness to all in the school.
After the last day of school before Thanksgiving break, we headed to Island Park to stay at Bryan Atkins' cabin for a few days. We had so much fun playing games, watching movies, and eating great food and just relaxing. It was so awesome to have Averly join us on Saturday all the way up from Cedar City.
It was a little rainy and a little snowy, but it didn't keep us from getting out and walking together!
Game time: BANG! Averly won! Loved our cozy time at the cabin!
Next day was wisdom-teeth removal day for Averly and Kaleb. So fun!

Averly had to get a double dose of sleepy medicine because she wouldn't fall asleep. She was SO goofy when she finally woke up. These pictures verify that just a little.

Kaleb wasn't as goofy (he only got a single dose). The last four days have all been recovery days for these two brave souls!
We were shocked that Averly's mission call came the very day she got her wisdom teeth out! Late that night, although she and Kaleb were miserable, she read her call to our little family first. What an honor to be together for that special moment! Colorado Springs Mission!!
The next night we did a gathering for Averly to read her call to everyone else: friends and family.

And miracle of miracles - Hailey English was in Rexburg with her sister, Brooklyn, for the Thanksgiving break, so she got to come be with us as Averly opened her call. So special!!

Brooklyn, (baby), Hailey, Averly, Melanie. So fun to have wonderful neighbors and friends with us in person and many relatives and friends from afar online watching with us, too.
The next day was Thanksgiving. It was so fun to have Jan Pabst and the Harrison's with us to celebrat. They all brought delicious food and fun!
